Looking to the past

Traditional tactical communications networks use proprietary radio and crypto technology to secure the transmission of information. Often, pre-installed keys and hard-coded crypto chips embedded in radios are used.

The result: vendor-specific siloed solutions, incompatibility and lack of scalability. This presents a challenge for the adoption of innovative, emerging broadband technologies such as 5G in tactical deployments.

This is no longer necessary because 

the TacticalCore has the necessary interfaces as a digital brace to enable a vendor-independent, end-to-end platform.
